Why is the EMX Receiver channel status LED flashing 0.5 seconds on and 0.5 seconds off?
    • W
      William YoderAug 15, 2025
This issue may occur if the transmitter batteries are discharged or the transmitter is damaged. Try replacing the batteries with two new AA lithium batteries 1.5V. Note that in cold weather, battery life can be reduced. If the transmitter LED does not light after installing new batteries, consider replacing the transmitter.

What to do if the EMX MAX PRO channel status LED flashes 2x then pauses every second?
    • L
      Lynn JimenezAug 18, 2025
This could be due to several reasons: * Edge sensor resistance above 12K. * Improper connection to the edge sensor. * Damaged wires. To resolve this, disconnect the edge sensor from the transmitter. Use a digital multimeter set to read ohms and connect it to the edge leads. The meter should display a reading between 4K and 12K. If the reading is outside this range, the edge sensor is likely defective and needs replacement.

Why is the EMX MAX PRO channel status LED flashing 3x per second?
    • M
      Mr. Stephen BellAug 22, 2025
The EMX Receiver channel status LED flashes 3x per second when the transmitter batteries are low, specifically less than 2.7V. The suggested solution is to replace the batteries with two new AA lithium batteries 1.5V.

What to do if the EMX MAX PRO channel status LED is always on, regardless of the edge sensor state?
    • M
      Michael WrightAug 26, 2025
This can occur if the edge sensor’s resistance is too low or the edge wires are shorted. To troubleshoot, disconnect the edge sensor from the transmitter and connect a digital multimeter (set to read ohms) to the edge leads. The meter should read between 4K and 12K ohms. If the reading is outside this range, the edge sensor is defective and should be replaced.

    • T
      Tiffany TurnerAug 28, 2025
This issue occurs when the transmitter is not connected to the receiver. Please repeat step 9 in the transmitter installation instructions to resolve this.

Why does the EMX Controller LED flash 3 times per cycle?
    • R
      Rachel HoustonSep 1, 2025
The LED on your EMX Controller flashes 3 times per cycle because the transmitter batteries are low. To resolve this, replace the batteries with the type listed in the specifications.

What to do if EMX Controller LED flashes twice (0.5 seconds on, 0.5 seconds off)?
    • T
      Timothy RojasSep 4, 2025
If the LED on your EMX Controller flashes twice (0.5 seconds on, 0.5 seconds off), it means the transmitter batteries are discharged or the transmitter is damaged/inoperable. You should replace the batteries with the type listed in the specifications. If that doesn't work, replace the transmitter.

Why is my EMX Controller LED flashing twice per cycle (0.25 seconds on, 0.25 seconds off)?
    • E
      Emily MorrisSep 7, 2025
If the LED on your EMX Controller is flashing twice per cycle (0.25 seconds on, 0.25 seconds off), it indicates that the edge resistance is above normal due to an improper connection or damaged wires. Ensure the edge is terminated with the proper termination resistance (3k to 12k).

How to fix EMX Controller when the LED is always on?
    • L
      Leah CalhounSep 12, 2025
If the LED on your EMX Controller is always on, regardless of the edge state, it means the edge resistance is below normal or the edge wires are shorted. Make sure the edge is terminated with the proper termination resistance (3k to 12k) and check the wires for damage.
