Posioning / Placement:
The ENAT-OD7 is featured with an Omni Direconal enhancement.
The ENAT-OD7 transmits and / or receives wireless signal covering
full longitudinal surface around the antenna.
It is highly recommended to have the antenna in a vercal physical
posion than horizontal in most cases.
This posional recommendaon also applies when the antenna is
connected to the PCI LAN card.
There are many factors which can affect the range of your wireless
network.
Here are some ps to get the most use of your antenna:
•Make sure that the antenna is placed away from any electrical
devices specially those that generates radio signals or an
electromagnec fields such as microwave, incandescent light
bulbs, 2.4 MHz cordless phones, high voltage electrical wirings,
transformers, TV units or CRT PC Monitor, etc.
•The wireless signal weakens if it has to pass through (reinforced)
concrete walls. Signal weakens a lot as it passes thru several
concrete walls making the distance shorter.
•Signal can be a lot weaker a few feet under or above the antenna
locaons, compare to a few feet in both side locaons of the
antenna.
•Make sure that the antenna is not posioned too close to any
large objects such as cabinets, couch, bed, etc.
•It is not recommended placing the antenna on a meter cupboard.
