Why won't my Endless Summer Chesapeake burner light with the igniter?
    • L
      Lori ColemanJul 28, 2025
If the Endless Summer Outdoor Fireplace burner won't light with the igniter, several factors could be at play. First, ensure the LP gas tank valve is open and the regulator is securely attached. If that's not the issue, the LP gas tank might be low or empty, requiring a refill or replacement. A gas leak could also be the culprit; if you suspect a leak, close the LP gas tank valve, wait 5 minutes, and then follow the leak-checking procedure. Other potential causes include a dead battery in the igniter (replace the “AA” battery), wet electrodes or burners (wipe them dry), or a cracked or broken electrode, loose or disconnected wire, shorting wire, or a bad igniter, any of which may require replacement parts.

Why does the flame seem to lose heat when burning my Endless Summer Chesapeake Outdoor Fireplace in cold weather?
    • R
      rnguyenAug 10, 2025
If the flame of your Endless Summer Outdoor Fireplace seems to lose heat when burning in cold weather (below 50ºF), it's likely due to ice buildup on the outside of the LP gas tank, which slows down the vaporization process. To address this, turn off the unit, replace the current LP gas tank with a spare, reconnect the LP gas tank, check for leaks, and then light the outdoor fire pit.

How to fix an irregular flame pattern on my Endless Summer Outdoor Fireplace?
    • B
      Bradley BradyAug 14, 2025
If your Endless Summer Outdoor Fireplace has an irregular flame pattern where the flame doesn't run the full length of the burner, it is because the burner ports are clogged or blocked. Clean the burner ports to resolve this issue.

Why is the flame yellow or orange on my Endless Summer Chesapeake?
    • C
      charlesmeyerAug 18, 2025
If the flame on your Endless Summer Outdoor Fireplace is yellow or orange, it could be due to a few reasons. If the burner is new, it may have residual manufacturing oils; in this case, burn the outdoor fire pit for 15 minutes and then reinspect the flame. Alternatively, there might be spider webs or insect nests in the burner/venturi tube, so clean the tube. Another possibility is poor alignment of the valve to the burner/venturi tube; ensure the burner/venturi tube is properly engaged with the valve.

What causes flashback in my Endless Summer Chesapeake?
    • M
      macdonaldkevinAug 23, 2025
If you're experiencing flashback (fire in the venturi/burner tube(s)) with your Endless Summer Outdoor Fireplace, it's likely because the burner and/or burner/venturi tube is blocked. Clean the burner and/or burner/venturi tube to resolve this issue.

What to do if my Endless Summer Chesapeake Outdoor Fireplace has a sudden drop in gas flow or reduced flame height?
    • M
      Melissa DavidOct 31, 2025
If your Endless Summer Outdoor Fireplace experiences a sudden drop in gas flow or reduced flame height, the most likely cause is that the LP gas tank is empty, so exchange, refill, or replace the LP gas tank. Alternatively, the overfilling prevention device may have been activated. To resolve this, turn the control knob to “ OFF”, wait 30 seconds, and relight the fire pit. If the flames remain low, reset the overfilling prevention device by following these steps: turn the control knob “ OFF”, turn the LP gas tank valve to “CLOSED”, disconnect the LP gas tank from the regulator, turn the control knob to (HIGH), wait two minutes, turn the control knob to “ OFF”, reconnect the LP gas tank to the regulator and leak check the connections, being careful not to fully open valve, and then light th...

Why won't my Endless Summer Outdoor Fireplace burner light with a match?
    • G
      Gina RobertsNov 4, 2025
If the burner of your Endless Summer Outdoor Fireplace won't light with a match, there could be several reasons. First, check if the LP gas tank is empty and exchange, refill, or replace if needed. If the tank isn't empty, it might be due to a lack of gas flow; refer to the troubleshooting steps for a sudden drop in gas flow or reduced flame height. A gas leak could also be the issue; in that case, turn the LP gas tank valve to “CLOSED”, wait 5 minutes, and follow the leak-checking procedure. Other possible causes include the coupling nut and regulator not being fully connected (tighten by hand), an obstruction of gas flow (clear the burner/venturi tube and check for a bent or kinked hose), disengagement of the burner to valve (re-engage the burner and valve), spider webs or insect nests i...
