With Commubox FXA291 the intrinsically safe and the non-intrinsically safe connection are protected.
Therefore, you can connect an Ex device to the intrinsically safe side of Commubox FXA291 even if a non-Ex
device was connected before. The Commubox will not lose its Ex approval.
