What to do if the Energizer EN548 Power inverter RED FAULT light is ON?
    • J
      Jennifer FarmerAug 6, 2025
If the red fault light on your Energizer Power inverter is on, it could be due to several reasons. The connected AC product might be rated at more than the inverter’s continuous power rating, causing an overload shutdown, so use a product with a lower power rating. Alternatively, the AC product might be rated less than the inverter’s surge capability; in that case, use a product with starting surge power within the inverter’s capability. Another reason could be a discharged battery, so try recharging it. Also, the inverter may have overheated due to poor ventilation; unplug it from the DC socket, allow it to cool for 15 minutes, and remove any objects covering it. If this doesn't help, move the inverter to a cooler place, reduce the load if continuous operation is required, and restart.

How to fix an Energizer EN548 Power inverter when no lights are ON and the AC product doesn't operate?
    • N
      Nicole JohnstonAug 14, 2025
If your Energizer Power inverter has no lights on and the AC product isn't working, the battery might be defective; check it and replace it if needed. Also, check for loose connections and ensure they are secure. The battery voltage could also be too low, so try recharging the battery.

Why is the measured output of my Energizer EN548 Power inverter too low?
    • T
      Todd TaylorAug 26, 2025
If the measured output of your Energizer Power inverter is too low, it might be because a standard “average- reading” AC voltmeter was used to measure the output voltage, resulting in an apparent reading 5 to 15 V too low. The inverter’s “modified sine wave” output requires a “true RMS” voltmeter for accurate measurements.
