Function Description

The Energy Sistem Headphones Microphone 1 is a flexible microphone that can be plugged into headphones to convert them into a headset. It features an in-line control unit with a microphone mute switch, volume control, and a play/pause button (for smartphones only). This allows users to make video calls, record audio, or communicate while gaming.

Usage Features

Adjusting the Microphone: The microphone (2) should be worn on either side of the mouth and adjusted properly. Five dots on the microphone indicate the side that should rest close to the mouth to ensure accurate voice capture.

Connecting to a Computer: To connect the Headphones Microphone 1 to a computer, plug it into your headphones and then connect the headset to the computer.

• Using the 3.5 mm mini jack plug:
  • If your computer has a combined audio connection (which functions as both an audio input and output, often marked with a headphones symbol), you can plug the headset directly into the computer without needing a splitter.
  • If your computer lacks a combined audio connection, you will need a splitter. The "Cable Splitter 1 Jack" (reference 941575) is available on Energy Sistem's website and at retail points.
  • Important: When adjusting computer sound settings, ensure you select the headset as the computer's audio input (microphone) and the headset/headphones as the computer's audio output.

Connecting to a Smartphone: The Headphones Microphone 1 can also be plugged into a smartphone using the 3.5 mm mini jack output (6) for making video calls. The Play/Pause (5) button on the in-line control unit will only function when the microphone is connected to a smartphone.

Maintenance Features

To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your Headphones Microphone 1, follow these maintenance guidelines:

• Protection: Do not expose the device to impacts, dust, humidity, or high temperatures.
• Cleaning: Avoid using corrosive or abrasive cleaning products.
