QUICK START
Manual Program Remote for Television
Auto Program Remote for Television
Program NEW Remote to Control STB
1. Visit www.nep.net/remote to download TV codes or locate your
TV type and make in the TV Codes pamphlet or pdf.
2. Turn on TV.
3. Hold down the TV button until it lights up and stays lit.
4. Type in a 4 digit code from the TV Codes pamphlet or pdf.
a. Test Volume - press volume up and down
b. Test Power - press Blue Power button at the top of remote
If either test fails go to next code in TV Codes pamphlet/pdf.
If HD codes do not work locate and test SD codes.
5. Once a working code is found hit the STB button to be sure you
can control the Set Top Box.
6. Write working code here for future access:
1. Turn on TV.
2. Hold down the TV button until it lights up and stays lit.
3. Press the Blue Power button once aiming the remote at TV.
4. Press either the Channel Up or Channel Down to start Auto Scan.
5. Auto Scan will test a Code in 5 second intervals. The TV button
will blink everytime a new code is tested. This can take up to
15 minutes to complete.
6. If / When the TV turns off press the OK button on the remote to
lock in the code.
If all codes have been tested and the OK button was not pressed
the TV key will blink 7 times and Auto Scan will be terminated.
1. Program Remote for TV rst. See options above.
2. Hold down the STB button until it lights up and stays lit.
3. Press the Blue Power button once aiming the remote at the
Set Top Box.
4. Press the Number 1 button. Remote will be programed to work
that Set Top Box.

Auto Program Remote for Television

Turn On TV

Turn on the television.

Activate TV Button

Hold down the TV button until it lights up and stays lit.

Initiate Auto Scan

Press the Blue Power button once aiming the remote at TV.

Start Auto Scan

Press either the Channel Up or Channel Down to start Auto Scan.

Auto Scan Process

Auto Scan tests codes in 5-second intervals; TV button blinks.

Lock In Code

If TV turns off, press OK to lock in the code.

Program NEW Remote to Control STB

Program for TV First

Program the remote for TV first. See options above.

Activate STB Button

Hold down the STB button until it lights up and stays lit.

Aim Remote at STB

Press the Blue Power button once aiming the remote at the Set Top Box.

Complete STB Programming

Press the Number 1 button. Remote will be programmed to work that Set Top Box.
