The EnviroVent energiSava® 200 is a whole-house heat recovery ventilation system designed for residential use. It is available in both wall and floor-mounted versions. This system continuously removes stale, moist air from wet rooms like bathrooms, kitchens, and WCs, replacing it with clean, fresh, tempered air. The fresh air is supplied through circular valves mounted in the ceiling and living room areas. The primary function of the energiSava® 200 is to prevent the build-up of moisture, steam, condensation, and odours, thereby combating black mould formation on walls and behind cupboards, and reducing dampness in cupboards, wardrobes, on clothes, and furnishings caused by poor ventilation. It aims to provide continuous, all-year-round ideal indoor air quality.

The system operates continuously 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at a low rate known as 'trickle' to ensure adequate ventilation. Users can activate a higher rate, called 'boost,' through various methods.

Usage Features:

• Continuous Operation: The unit is designed to run continuously at a low 'trickle' rate to maintain optimal ventilation. It should not be switched off.
• Boost Function: The system can be temporarily boosted to a higher ventilation rate.
  • Remote Control Versions: Pressing the button once displays the current status of the unit. Pressing it again activates the boost function, indicated by a lit boost LED. The unit will operate in boost mode for 20 minutes. The remote control uses two AAA batteries, which can be replaced by unclipping the switch front cover.

• Summer Bypass: This automatic function helps reduce the air temperature supplied to the dwelling during summer months. It operates by diverting air around the heat recovery cell when the supply air temperature to the property exceeds 25°C.
• Filter Status Indicator: The unit features an indicator that flashes when the filter needs checking. After filter maintenance is complete, the filter status can be reset by pressing the button for 12 seconds.
• Unit Fault Indicator: If all indicators flash, it signifies a unit fault.
• Ceiling Valves: The ceiling valves are pre-set to allow a specific amount of airflow and should not be adjusted by the resident.

Maintenance Features:

• Filter Replacement: Filters should be changed periodically. The manual recommends changing filters x 2. The filter part code is FILTER-ES250. An illustration shows the location of the filters behind the front cover.
• Airflow Check: Users or maintenance companies should periodically check for sufficient airflow coming through the diffusers.
• Professional Servicing: The unit should be serviced every 2 years by EnviroVent, a maintenance company, or another competent person. This service includes filter replacements, airflow checks, and a condense drain check. Any worn-out components can be exchanged and are brought back to the Harrogate factory for recycling.
• Safety during Maintenance: Residents should not remove the covers from the unit. Any repair work must be carried out by a qualified person to avoid hazards. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, service agent, or a similarly qualified person.
• Emergency Shutdown: In an emergency, the unit can be isolated from the mains by turning it off at the isolating switch.
