What to do if the Epic Extender's Link LED is flashing red and Wi-Fi LED is off?
If the Link LED is flashing red and the Wi-Fi LED is off on your Epic Extender, the device is trying to make a connection to the modem; please wait a few minutes.
Position halfway between trouble area and modem, aiming for a good Link LED status (green).
Avoid confined, soft, or outdoor locations. Monitor Link LED (orange=ok, red=poor, no signal).
