Congratulations on the purchase of your Peyton Storage Trundle Platform Bed. This bed has been crafted to the highest
standards of quality and safety and will give you many years of enjoyment and practical use.
On this insert you will nd a list of the hardware, platform bed and trundle parts as well as detailed assembly instructions.
Assembly is quite simple and requires only a at head screwdriver and a Phillips head screwdriver. The use of a power drill
with Phillips head attachment is helpful but not necessary. Assembly will be most easily accomplished if you take the time
to carefully sort the hardware and familiarize yourself with the function of each piece.

Summary

Platform Bed Assembly

Attach Side Rails

Slide side rails into headboard and footboard grooves, tapping gently to secure connections.

Install Slat Bundle

Unroll slat bundle evenly onto side rails and screw the first and last slats to the outer rails.

Trundle Bed Assembly

Assemble Trundle Frame

Attach long end panels to front and back panels using dowels and 35mm bolts.

Attach Trundle Braces and Planks

Secure long plank braces and middle plank brace to the trundle with 30mm wood screws.

Install Bottom Planks

Slide bottom planks into place and secure them with 20mm wood screws.

Attach Trundle Wheels

Flip trundle, place on soft surface, and attach wheels using 20mm wood screws.

Storage Drawer Assembly

Assemble Drawer Frame

Attach short end panels to front and back panels with dowels and 35mm bolts.

Attach Drawer Braces and Planks

Secure short plank braces and middle plank brace to the drawer with 20mm wood screws.

Install Drawer Bottom Planks

Lay bottom planks into drawer, ensuring countersunk holes face up, and secure with screws.

Attach Drawer Wheels

Flip the storage drawer and attach wheels using 20mm wood screws.

Optional Storage Configurations

Trundle as Storage Drawer

Use trundle as storage drawer by removing mattress and inserting wire retainers and dividers.

Compartmentalized Storage Drawer

Add wire retainers and wooden dividers to customize storage drawer compartment sizes.
