Obtaining the DR data
1. Obtain the corresponding DR data referring to the Technical Information
TI08-30e.
Saving the data to the PC
2. Save the DR data file to the following folder in the PC.
C:\IRIS\DRDATA\
Replacing it with a good MA Board
3. Prepare a good MA Board belonging to the same model group, and replace
the boards.
Turning on the projector
4. Turn the projector ON.
Connect the projector to the PC
5. Connect the projector to the PC using an RS-232C cable.

Writing the DR data
6. Start up the CAT.
7. Select the group from [SETUP] - [SELECT MODEL] menu, by referring to
the number; *** and sax, that can be found in a file name;
“H***_xx_yyy_zzzzz_zzzzzz_zzzzzz.bin” of supplied DR data.
8. Enter serial number (11digits) that has been displayed in MAB-DataSerial
column as a result of retrieval. And then, execute RESTORE.
Image/Operation check
9. Restart the projector (Power OFF - Power ON) once, and confirm there is no
problem in the projected image and operation.
RESTORE cannot operate correctly if the DR data is not saved
in the specified folder.
Do not change the name of the DR data file.
Refer to the user’s manual for communication configuration.
The DR data is not stored on a brand-new MA Board, and due to
this, “$$$$$$$$” appear on the menu screen when trying to restore
the DR data, but a restore operation itself can be completed
normally.
