Choosing a place for the printer
The second condition on page 2 is incorrect. Leave at least 30 cm between the back of the printer and the wall.
Unpacking the printer
Steps 1 to 4 on pages 4 to 5 for Stylus Pro 9600 users and steps 1 to 3 on pages 9 to 10 for Stylus Pro 7600 users
have been changed as described below.
1. Remove the roll paper spindle with roll paper, polystyrene foam, and cardboard cushions from around
the printer.
2. Stylus Pro 7600 users should remove the fixers from the sides of the box.
3. Lift the box up and away from the printer. Remove the ink cartridges from the right hollow (A), and
draining cartridge, ferrite core, flanges and roll paper belt from the left hollow (B) on the rear side of the
printer.
Note:
❏ For EPSON UltraChrome ink users, 8 ink cartridges are included. For dye ink users, 7 ink cartridges are
included.
❏ The draining cartridge is used for EPSON UltraChrome black ink replacement.
4. Take out the cardboard panels from the printer.
