AutoPower Off Power turns on or off depending on your vehicle’s ignition
type (constant power or switched)
1 Hour Powers off automatically after 1 hour
2 Hours Powers off automatically after 2 hours
4 Hours* Powers off automatically after 4 hours
8 Hour Powers off automatically after 8 hours
NOTE: If auto power is on, the display screen goes blank after 30 minutes
to save screen life. Display screen will turn on automatically after you reach
10 MPH

Notes for Settings & Preferences
For descriptions of features and functions
available when connected to ESCORT Live and
download the PASSPORT Max2 Owner’s Manual.
To view ser ial number and soft ware revision
press MRK and MUTE while powe ring on
detector.
To restore PAS SP OR T Max2 to its or iginal
factory Settings, press and hold SEN and BRT
while turning the power on. A “Restored”
message will display, acknowledging the reset.
Software Updates
PAS SP OR T M ax2’s red lig ht and speed camera
DEFEN DER database is easily updated using our
exclusive detector soft ware tools fou nd on our
web site. Fir mware, or the operating software
for the detector, can also be updated using
these tools.
In order to have access to these updates, please
register your PASSPORT Max2. Once registered,
you will receive email notifi cations that updates
are now available for your database or fi rmware.
To handle your software and DEFENDER
updates you need to connect your Max2 to a
computer fi rst. Y ou can connect Max2 to a
computer via USB A / Mini B cable (not
included).
