TROUBLESHOOTING
Engine fails
to start.
Spark plug wire
disconnected.
- Out of fuel or stale fuel.
- Choke not in open position.
- Blocked fuel line.
- Fouled spark plug.
- Engine flooding.
Attach spark plug wire securely
to spark plug.
- Fill with clean, fresh gasoline.
- Throttle must be positioned at
choke for a cold start.
- Clean the fuel line.
- Clean, adjust gap, or replace.
- Wait a few minutes to restart,
Engine runs
erratically.
Spark plug wire loose.
- Unit running on CHOKE.
- Blocked fuel line or stale
fuel.
- Vent plugged.
- Water or dirt in fuel system.
- Dirty air cleaner.
- Improper carburetor
adjustment.
Connect and tighten spark plug
wire.
- Move choke lever to OFF.
- Clean fuel line. Fill tank with
clean, fresh gasoline.
- Clear vent.
- Drain fuel tank. Refill with fresh
fuel.
- Clean or replace air cleaner.
- Refer to engine manual.
Engine
overheats.
- Dirty air cleaner.
- Air flow restricted.
- Carburetor not adjusted
- Fill crankcase with proper oil.
- Clean air cleaner.
- Remove housing and clean.
- Refer to engine manual.
One of the two
tracks is blocked.
Foreign bodies have worked
their way between the track
Remove the foreign body.
Machine does not
move while engine
is running
Gear is not properly
selected.
- Driving tracks not tight
Ensure gear lever is not in-
between two different gears.
- Tighten driving tracks.
ENVIRONMENT
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, hoses
and packaging should be resorted, taken to the local recycling center and disposed
of in an environment-friendly safe way.
