Usage Features:

  • Safety First: Always ensure the electrical voltage in your home matches the appliance's data plate before plugging it in. Never handle the plug or appliance with wet hands to prevent electric shock. Do not immerse the appliance, power cord, or mains socket in water or any other liquid.
  • Cord Management: The power cord must be arranged to prevent pulling or tripping. Do not pull the power cord to move the appliance, lift it by the cord, trap it in doors, or rub it against corners. Hold the power cord when rewinding it and do not allow it to rewind freely. Do not roll the vacuum cleaner over the power cord.
  • Accessory Use: Only use accessories supplied with the appliance. Using unauthorized accessories can be dangerous and damage the appliance.
  • Heat Sources: Do not place the appliance near heat sources such as radiators, hot air vents, ovens, or other heat-producing appliances.
  • Children and Supervised Use: This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and over, and by individuals with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they are supervised or have received instructions on safe use and understand the associated hazards. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children under 8 years old.
  • Stair Use: Exercise caution when using the appliance on stairs.
  • Unattended Operation: The appliance must not be left unattended when connected to the mains.
  • Overloading Sockets: To prevent short-circuits, do not plug another appliance into the same electric socket.
  • Extension Cords: If an extension cord is used, ensure it can handle the power drawn by the vacuum cleaner and is placed on dry surfaces protected from water splashes.
  • Switching On/Off: The appliance must always be switched off before being plugged in or unplugged.
  • Carrying: Use the carrying handle to move the appliance, not the power cord or vacuum hose.
  • Ventilation: Do not use the appliance if any vents are obstructed. Regularly clean away dust, fibers, hair, or anything else that could reduce airflow.
  • Delicate Body Parts: When the appliance is in operation, avoid placing the suction port near delicate body parts such as eyes, mouth, or ears.
  • Blower Mode: When using the blower function, wear safety goggles to prevent debris from hitting the eyes or face, which could cause injury.
  • Liquid Suction: Before vacuuming liquids, check that the float is working. When the container is full during liquid suction, the float will close the suction opening, interrupting the process. Switch off the appliance, unplug it, and empty the container. Regularly check that the float (water-level limiting device) is clean and undamaged.
  • Spills: Switch off the appliance immediately if liquid or foam spills out.
  • Tipping: If the appliance tips over, it is recommended to set it upright before switching it off.
  • Prohibited Substances: Never vacuum toxic, flammable, or combustible substances (e.g., petrol). Do not use the vacuum cleaner in the presence of explosives or flammable fumes. Never vacuum sharp objects or burning/incandescent objects (e.g., cigarettes, matches, hot ash). Never vacuum very fine dust particles (e.g., plaster, concrete, flour). Never insert any objects into the appliance openings.
  • Damaged Filter: Do not use the vacuum cleaner with a damaged filter.
  • External Control: This appliance is not designed to be controlled by an external timer or separate remote control system.
  • Wet Environments: If operating the appliance in humid rooms (e.g., a bathroom), connect it only to a socket protected by an earth leakage circuit breaker. Consult an authorized electrician for advice.

Maintenance Features:

  • Cleaning: Always unplug the appliance from the mains before cleaning or maintenance, and when changing an accessory. Clean the appliance and filter immediately after each use, following the cleaning instructions in the manual. Ensure the liquid or dust level in the container never reaches the height of the suction connector (maximum container capacity).
  • Filter: If the filter is dirty, clean it. If vacuuming fine dust, it is recommended to use a dust bag in the container.
  • Container: If the container is full or the maximum liquid level is reached, empty the container.
  • Obstructions: If the hose or accessories are clogged, clean them.
  • Decompression System: If the decompression system on the handle is open, close it.
  • Air Outlet Dust: If dust comes out of the air outlet, check that the filter is correctly installed and reposition it. If the filter is damaged, replace it.
  • Cord Damage: If the appliance's cord is damaged, it must be replaced by your dealer, customer service department, or a similarly qualified person to avoid hazards. Before each use, check that the plug and/or power cord are not damaged (e.g., cracks or premature aging). If damaged, do not use the appliance and return it to your retail store service department.
  • No User Repairs: No repairs should be performed by the user. In case of doubt or malfunction, take the appliance to a customer service department for inspection and repair.

Troubleshooting Guide:

  • Vacuum cleaner not working:
    • Check that the power cord is properly plugged into the power outlet.
