If you have a darker skin tone (and before using the device for the first time) always start
the epilation at the lowest intensity. Only after you make sure that given setting does not
cause any complications, you can increase the light intensity setting, if needed.

The above displayed table shows the manner of use of the device and recommended
setting for given skin/hair type. To put it simply, the darker skin you have, the lower light
intensity should be set. If your skin type is approximately 6 or darker, do not use the
device. Also do not use the device in case you do not have standard skin pigmentation
(e.g. vitiligo or albinism). Determine your skin tone according to the reference zone (skin
area), which has not been exposed to the sunlight – ideally the area hidden under bikini
or underarms. The colour tones including the table are illustrative only and serve only for
better understanding of the device operation in relation to various skin and hair colour
tones. Always respect the warnings in the instructions, including the skin sensitivity test.
