What to do if ETAS Media Converter ES160.1 has no network connection after disconnecting the network cable?

If your ETAS Media Converter ES160.1 loses network connectivity after disconnecting the network cable from your PC, follow these steps: 1. Open the Windows Device Manager. 2. Expand the Network Adapters entry. 3. Find the network adapter connected to the ES160.1 and open its properties by double-clicking. 4. Go to the Advanced tab. 5. Set Energy Efficient Ethernet to On. 6. Set Link Speed Battery Saver to Disabled. 7. Click OK to confirm. 8. Reconnect the ES160.1 to the configured network adapter.
