2. WINDING – SETTINGS
2.1 GENERAL POINTS
To ensure optimum water resistance, your watch has a
screw-in setting crown. This one oers one waterproof-
ness to your watch, assured until 100 m (10 bar) of depth.
To enable watch winding and settings, you first need to
release the screw-in crown 6. To do so, undo the crown a
few turns. Once winding or setting is complete, push the
crown back in against the case, and screw it back in fully.
Never operate the crown underwater or when it is still
wet. The crown 6 has 3 positions:
A Rest and manual winding position
B Rapid date correction and 2nd time zone time-
setting position
C Local time-setting position with stop seconds
and date change at midnight
2.2 WINDING
CROWN 6 IN REST POSITION A
Your watch has an automatic mechanical movement
which is wound by the motion of your wrist when you are
wearing the watch. It is therefore not normally necessary
to manually wind the watch.
