Usage Features

The Smart Lock Touch offers a variety of features designed to enhance user experience and security:

• Multiple Unlocking Methods:

  • Fingerprint Scanner: Users can register their fingerprints for quick and secure access. The fingerprint LED breathes blue upon successful scan and red for failed attempts. The system can store up to 50 fingerprints. After 5 consecutive failed attempts, the fingerprint scanner is temporarily disabled.
  • Access Codes: Users can set up 4- to 8-character access codes using the touchscreen keypad. The keypad lights up when activated, and a √ button confirms the code. After 5 consecutive incorrect access code attempts, the Smart Lock will lock, requiring alternative unlocking methods. The system supports up to 100 access codes.
  • eufy Security App: The Smart Lock can be paired with a smartphone via Bluetooth, allowing users to unlock and lock the door remotely through the eufy Security app. The app provides a secure interface for managing the lock.
  • Physical Key: In case of electronic failure or drained batteries, a traditional physical key is provided as a backup unlocking method.
  • Micro USB Port for Emergency Power: If the batteries run low, a micro USB cable can be connected to a portable battery to temporarily power the Smart Lock, allowing access.

• Battery Management:

  • The lock operates on 4 AA batteries.
  • Users are advised to replace batteries when a low battery alarm is heard.

  • OTA updates are not allowed if the battery level is below 25%.
