The lock is designed for residential use and offers various customizable settings through the accompanying mobile application.

Usage Features

The Smart Lock offers a range of features to enhance convenience and security:

• Multiple Unlocking Methods:

  • Access Code: Users can set a 4 to 8-character access code. The keypad lights up when any key is pressed, and a correct code unlocks the door. Incorrect attempts are indicated by a red blinking error button and a beep. After 5 consecutive failed attempts, the access code cannot be used, and users must resort to the app or physical key.
  • eufy Security App: The lock can be unlocked via Bluetooth using the eufy Security app, which connects to the Smart Lock and provides on-screen instructions.
  • Physical Key: A traditional key is provided as a backup for unlocking the door, especially useful if the battery runs low or access code attempts are exhausted.

• Multiple Locking Methods:

  • Access Code: Entering the correct access code and pressing the lock button will secure the door.
  • eufy Security App: The app allows users to lock the door remotely via Bluetooth.
  • Automatic Lock: Users can enable an "Automatic lock" option in the app and set a time duration (up to 3 minutes) after which the door will automatically lock once closed. The Smart Lock detects the door's closed status and locks it if not already secured.

• Scramble Passcode: This feature allows users to input a series of random numbers before or after their actual access code (up to 12 digits total) to prevent others from guessing the code by observing finger movements. This is particularly useful in public or semi-public environments.

• User Management: The Smart Lock supports adding up to 100 users, each potentially with their own access codes. The initial user who pairs the phone with the lock becomes the administrator and can authorize other users.

• Customizable Settings (via eufy Security App):

  • Language: Set the operating language (English by default).
  • Time Synchronization: Synchronize the lock's time with the phone's time.
  • Voice Volume: Adjust the volume of voice prompts from the Smart Lock.
  • Automatic Door-Locking Duration: Customize the countdown duration for automatic locking.
