- Caring for the Dishwasher:
- Control Panel: Clean with a lightly dampened cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Exterior: Use appliance polish wax. Avoid sharp objects, scouring pads, or harsh cleaners.
- Door: Clean edges with a soft, warm, damp cloth. Avoid spray cleaners, abrasive agents, or paper towels to prevent damage to the door lock, electrical components, or stainless steel surface.
- Spray Arms: Clean regularly to prevent clogging from hard water chemicals. The upper spray arm is removed by rotating it clockwise, and the lower spray arm by pulling it upward. Wash with soapy, warm water and use a soft brush for jets.
- Long-Term Storage: If not in use for an extended period, run an empty wash cycle, remove the plug, turn off the water supply, and leave the door slightly open to prevent odors and prolong door seal life.
- Frost Protection: In winter, cut off electrical power, turn off and disconnect the water inlet pipe, drain water from the inlet pipe and valve, reconnect the water inlet pipe, and remove the filter at the bottom of the tub to soak up water in the sump.
