Why is no steam coming out of my Euro-Pro Iron?

  If no steam is coming out of your Euro-Pro Iron, first, ensure the Steam ON/OFF Rocker Switch is in the “ON” position. Check if the Water Tank/Steam Generator is empty and fill it as instructed if needed. Make sure the unit is plugged in and both Steam & Iron ON/OFF Rocker Switches are in the “OFF” position when plugging it in. If the soleplate temperature is at maximum and the room temperature is high, or if the generator is not fully heated, allow approximately 8-10 minutes for heating, and wait for the Steam Ready Light to illuminate.

  If water is leaking from the soleplate of your Euro-Pro Iron, it could be because the soleplate temperature is too low for steam ironing. Turn the temperature dial to the marks between 2 and 3 dots. It may also be caused by the generator not being fully heated; in that case, wait for it to heat completely.

  If the soleplate of your Euro-Pro Iron remains cold, first, check that the Iron ON/OFF Rocker Switch is in the “ON” position. If it is, then verify that the temperature dial is not set to “Minimum” and adjust it to the appropriate setting.

Why is my Euro-Pro Iron releasing dirty steam?

  If your Euro-Pro Iron is releasing dirty or yellow steam, it may be due to residue in the water tank. Clean the steam generator as per the instructions. Also, ensure you are using demineralized/distilled water after cleaning the tank.
