This document describes the EURO-PROX Model EP91 Food Processor, an 800-watt kitchen appliance designed for versatile food processing tasks.
Function Description
The EURO-PROX EP91 is a multi-functional food processor capable of chopping, slicing, shredding, and kneading. It features a main chopping blade, a double chopping blade, a dough blade, and various slicing and shredding blades (thin shredding, thick shredding, thin slicing, thick slicing, and a French fry disc assembly). The appliance is designed for household use and aims to provide ease of operation and convenience for a variety of food preparation needs.
Important Technical Specifications
- Model: EP91
- Voltage: 120V~, 60Hz.
- Power: 800 Watts
- Capacity: 6 Cups (1.5 Liters)
- Safety Features:
- Safety Interlock Switch: The unit will not operate unless the food processor lid is securely locked in place.
- Re-settable Thermal Safety Device: This system prevents damage to the motor and drive system from overload or excessive temperature. If an overload occurs, the appliance will automatically cut power. A re-setting procedure involves turning the unit off, unplugging, removing and emptying the bowl, allowing a 30-minute cool-down period (or 1-2 hours for persistent issues), and then re-assembling and re-plugging.
- Speed Control: The food processor has a speed control dial with two settings: Low and High. It also includes a "Pulse/Turbo" button for greater control over food texture and short bursts of processing. "Pulse" is used when the unit is in the "Off" position, while "Turbo" is used when the unit is "On" for a power burst.
Usage Features
The food processor is designed for straightforward assembly and operation.
Setting Up:
- Ensure the unit is unplugged and the speed control dial is in the "Off" position.
- Place the processor bowl onto the main unit; no turning is required. The handle will fit into a slot at the base.
- Attach the desired blade or disc. For chopping, the double chopping blade can be used with one or two blades. For slicing and shredding, the chosen blade is placed on the blade holder, ensuring the longer tab is inserted first and then pressed until it clicks into place. The French fry blade comes pre-assembled to its holder.
- Fit the lid onto the bowl, turning counter-clockwise until it clicks into place and the arrow on the lid aligns with the dot on the unit.
- Plug in the processor.

Blade Handling:
- Blades are sharp; handle with extreme caution.
- When handling the chopper blade, always hold it by the plastic hub.
