The Eurolite LED PIX-144 RGB Bar is a versatile lighting fixture designed for professional use in event technology, such as on stage. This 100 cm bar is equipped with 144 wide-beam SMD LEDs, offering a full spectrum of red, green, and blue (RGB) colors. Its design allows for both DMX-controlled and stand-alone operation, making it adaptable to various lighting setups.
The LED PIX-144 RGB Bar is primarily used for creating decorative lighting effects. It features 8 individually controllable segments (pixels), each comprising 18 LEDs, allowing for intricate and dynamic light patterns. Users can select from various DMX channel modes (3, 5, 6, 12, 24, or 48 channels) to suit their control needs. In stand-alone mode, the device offers 16 pre-programmed automatic show programs with adjustable running speeds (SP0 to SP9). For interactive lighting, it includes a built-in microphone for sound-controlled operation, where the show programs react to the rhythm of music, with adjustable microphone sensitivity (Se00 to Se99). Additionally, the device supports individual color mixing, allowing users to set the brightness of red, green, and blue LEDs from 0-100% to achieve static colors. It also features a strobe effect with increasing speed, available in certain DMX modes. The master/slave function enables the synchronization of up to 32 units without the need for a DMX controller, with one unit acting as the master and controlling the others.
The device is user-friendly, with addressing and settings managed via a control board featuring an LED display and four operating buttons (MENU, ENTER, UP, DOWN). The menu structure allows for easy navigation through various modes and settings, including DMX channel selection, DMX starting address, automatic program selection, running speed adjustment, microphone sensitivity, and individual color mixing. The display can be inverted 180° for convenience in different mounting orientations. All settings are stored even when the device is disconnected from the mains. For power linking, up to 8 units can be connected at 230/240 V input voltage, or up to 4 devices at 110/115 V input voltage, using IEC terminals. The mounting bracket includes fixation screws for secure positioning and a safety eyelet for attaching a safety rope, ensuring safe overhead installation.
Regular maintenance is crucial for the device's longevity and performance. The exterior of the device should be cleaned periodically to remove dust and dirt, which can affect light output and overall brightness. Cleaning is limited to the surface; moisture should not come into contact with terminal connections or mains voltage control parts. A soft, lint-free, and moistened cloth is recommended for cleaning; solvents or aggressive detergents should be avoided. The fuse is replaceable, and instructions are provided for safely doing so. Regular inspection of the mounting hardware for corrosion, deformation, and looseness is advised, especially for overhead installations. In case of malfunction or visible damage, repairs should only be carried out by qualified service personnel. The device is designed for indoor use only and should be kept away from rain, moisture, high temperatures, direct sunlight, strong vibrations, and heavy mechanical stress. It is also important to protect the environment by disposing of the device and its batteries (if applicable) at designated recycling plants at the end of its service life.
