  If your Euromatic Water Pump isn't sucking, it could be due to several reasons. The suction valve might not be submerged enough (it needs at least 30 cm of water), the pump chamber might be empty, there could be air in the suction pipe, the suction valve might not be airtight, the suction rose could be clogged, or the maximum suction height might be exceeded. Try putting the suction valve deeper into the water, pouring water into the suction union, checking the seal of the suction pipe, cleaning the suction valve and rose, and verifying the suction height.

Eliminate any foreign bodies that may be causing friction. Then, wait approximately 20 minutes for the thermal cut-out switch to reset.
