Usage Features

The air conditioner offers several features for user convenience and comfort:

  • Control Options: Can be operated directly from the front control panel or using the supplied remote control.
  • ON/OFF: Simple button press to turn the unit on or off.

Maintenance Features

Regular maintenance is crucial for optimal performance and longevity of the air conditioner.

  • Cleaning the Air Conditioner:
    • The front cover should be wiped with a soft, dry cloth regularly. For excessive dirt, a soft cloth dampened with warm water (max 40°C) and mild detergent can be used, followed by thorough drying. Harsh solvents or detergents should be avoided.
    • Always switch off the unit and disconnect it from the mains power supply before cleaning.
  • Cleaning the Air Filter:
    • The air filter should be washed at least once a month to prevent dust accumulation and maintain cooling capacity.
    • To clean, open the air intake grille, pull out the filter, wash it under running water (or with water and mild detergent if needed), rinse with clean water, and air dry in the shade. Do not dry in direct sunshine.
    • The unit must not be operated without the filters reinstalled.
    • Replacement air filters are available from the after-sales support centre.
  • End of Season Maintenance:
    • On a dry day, operate the fan (LOW, MID, or HIGH speed) for half a day to ensure the unit's interior is completely dry.
    • Switch off the unit and disconnect it from the wall socket.
    • Clean and replace the air filter.
    • Clean the condenser fins (back of the unit) and evaporator (front of the unit) using a soft brush or vacuum cleaner attachment. Handle with care to avoid damaging the fins.
    • Remove batteries from the remote control if the appliance will not be used for a prolonged period.
  • Battery Replacement (Remote Control):
    • When batteries are flat or before long-term storage, slide open the battery cover, remove old batteries, and insert two fresh AAA (1.5V) batteries, observing polarity markings.
    • Battery Precautions: Use only fresh batteries of the required size and type. Do not mix old and new, or different types. Keep batteries away from children. Do not charge, heat, burn, open, or short-circuit batteries. Dispose of batteries properly according to local regulations; do not burn or bury them. In case of battery acid leakage, avoid contact with skin/eyes/mucous membranes; rinse affected areas immediately with clean water and seek medical attention.
  • Servicing and Repair:
    • Do not attempt to repair or modify the appliance yourself.
    • Any repairs must be carried out by an authorised service centre or qualified technician.
    • In case of technical fault, do not use the appliance; contact a qualified service technician or the after-sales support centre.
    • If smoke or a burning smell is detected, immediately disconnect the unit and contact after-sales support.
