Overview

The Otmmo EBO 3701S is a built-in electric oven designed for domestic use, offering a range of cooking functions and user-friendly features. It is distributed by Strategic Marketing (S) Pte Ltd, a Singaporean brand established in 1992, and comes with a 2-year warranty.

Function Description:

The oven features a digital display and touch controls for various cooking modes and settings.

  • Oven Lamp: Illuminates the oven cavity, allowing users to monitor cooking progress without opening the door. The lamp is active for all cooking functions.
  • Defrost: Circulates air at room temperature to quickly thaw frozen food without heat. This gentle method is suitable for speeding up defrosting time for frozen dishes, ready-made meals, and cream-filled products.
  • Bottom Heater: A concealed element at the bottom provides concentrated heat to the base of food, ideal for slow cooking dishes like casseroles, stews, pastries, and pizzas where a crispy base is desired. The temperature range is 60-120°C, with a default of 60°C.
  • Conventional Cooking: Utilizes both top and bottom heating elements for traditional convectional cooking. The temperature can be set between 50-250°C, with a default of 220°C. This function is optional and can work with a rotisserie motor.
  • Convention with Fan: Combines the fan with both heating elements for more even heat penetration, saving 30-40% energy. Dishes are lightly browned on the outside while remaining moist inside. This function is suitable for grilling or roasting large meat pieces at higher temperatures. The temperature range is 50-250°C, with a default of 220°C.
  • Radiant Grilling: The inner grill element cycles on and off to maintain temperature. The temperature range is 180-240°C, with a default of 210°C. This is an optional function that can work with a rotisserie motor.
  • Double Grilling: Both the inside radiant element and top element are active. The temperature range is 180-240°C, with a default of 210°C. This is an optional function that can work with a rotisserie motor.
  • Double Grilling with Fan: The inside radiant element and top element work in conjunction with the fan. The temperature range is 180-240°C, with a default of 210°C.
  • Convection: An element surrounding the convection fan provides additional heat for convection-style cooking. The fan automatically improves air circulation, creating even heat for cooking. The temperature range is 50-240°C, with a default of 180°C.

Usage Features:

  • Clock Setting: Allows users to set the 24-hour clock.
  • Function Setting: Users can select cooking functions, adjust cooking time (1 minute to 9 hours, with 1-minute steps for 0-30 min and 5-minute steps for 30 min-9 hours), and temperature (5°C steps).
  • Lamp Setting: Activates the oven lamp.
  • Inquiring Function: Allows checking current time, reminder time, or reservation time during various operating states.
  • Child Lock: Locks the oven controls to prevent accidental operation. Activated by pressing the "▷" and "Ⅲ" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds.
  • Reminder Function: A 9-hour reminder function can be set in standby mode to prompt the user to start cooking at a specific time.
  • Reservation Function: Allows delaying the start of a cooking program, available only when the clock is set and the oven is in standby mode.
  • Start/Pause/Cancel Function: Provides controls to start, pause, or cancel cooking programs.
  • Energy-Saving Function: The LCD display can be turned off and the oven enters energy-saving mode after 3 seconds of pressing the "☑" button or after 10 minutes of inactivity in waiting state. Any key press exits this mode.
  • Meat Probe Function: When inserted, the meat probe displays "PROB" and an icon. Users can select a function and adjust the temperature (50-150°C). The cooking time cannot be set in this mode. The oven will sound five times when cooking is finished. If the probe is pulled out, it reverts to waiting state. An "Er-3" error indicates a temperature sensor short circuit.
