Using the Carrier as a Front Pack – Facing Outward
IMPORTANT: The front position with BABY FACING OUTWARD is only for
babies who can hold up head and neck unassisted (about 4 to 5 months old).
Sit down.
With unbuckled carrier on your lap, place
baby onto carrier facing away from you
with legs straddling carrier.
BE PREPARED FOR BABY’S SUDDEN
MOVEMENT!
Support baby’s chest while bringing the
carrier up toward baby’s chest.
Fold head support and bib
C down,
then fasten the head support buckle D
to the shoulder strap. Make sure it
fastens with an audible click.
Repeat on the other side.

Make sure baby is comfortable with
legs fully through leg openings E and
baby’s arms resting above the side-
entry buckle A. You should be able to
fit two fingers between the baby’s leg
and the leg openings E.
MAKE SURE ALL BUCKLES ARE
FASTENED SECURELY.
Fasten the side-entry buckle A (see page 5).
Make sure it fastens with an audible click.
Secure the bib to the Velcro inside carrier
