Using the Side-entry Buckle

Sit down before removing
baby from carrier.
Release both head support
buckles and fold down top of
head support.
With your left arm support-
ing baby, grasp the side-entry
buckle handle
A
with your
left hand, as shown.

With your right hand, press the handle release tab B
and continue to hold down. With your left hand, lift the
buckle handle A upward until it clicks.
Twist the buckle handle A away from baby in an upward
motion until you hear a click.
Note: Twist until the handle tongue completely clears
the groove C in the holder.
Slide buckle handle A upward out of holder.
To unfasten the side-entry buckle
