SADDLING - PIPE WORK
To prevent damage to the cylinder, it is not permissible to drill through the
jacket of the water heater, other than when attaching a Flashing Kit. Drilling
though the jacket will void the Everhot warranty.
When attaching a Flashing Kit to the water heater jacket, we recommend the
use of self-drilling screws with a maximum length of 12 mm. An effective seal
must be achieved where the screw penetrates the jacket. The Flashing Kit must
not be installed within a 100 mm wide vertical strip either side of the cold water
inlet, hot water outlet and temperature pressure relief valve.
Note: If the cylinder is damaged as a result of installing a Flashing Kit to
the jacket, any resultant faults will not be covered by the Everhot
warranty.
