Overview

The EMX Series Multiframes are advanced rack frames designed to house Evertz EMR series routers, EMC master controllers, and other high-density system products. These frames are available in three sizes: EMX1-FR, EMX3-FR, and EMX6-FR, each offering varying capacities and features to meet the demanding needs of television studios.

Function Description:

The EMX Series Multiframes serve as a robust and flexible housing solution for modular processing cards, offering high-density capacity to conserve equipment rack space. They are designed to accommodate a range of Evertz modules, providing power, cooling, and a high-speed busing and control system for modular applications. The frames support both main and redundant frame controllers (EMX-FC) to provide essential reference, Ethernet control, and serial control functionalities for specific applications. Each slot within the frame is individually configurable for inputs and outputs, allowing for tailored system configurations. The front-loading design facilitates easy extraction and replacement of power supplies and active modules without disrupting performance or requiring rear access for re-cabling.
