The EVOLVEO StrongPhone X5 is a robust mobile phone designed for durability and ease of use, featuring a classic keypad and a range of essential functions. It is built to withstand challenging environments, making it suitable for users who require a resilient communication device.
Function Description
The StrongPhone X5 serves primarily as a mobile phone for making and receiving calls and sending SMS text messages. It supports two SIM cards (miniSIM) in standby mode, allowing users to manage two different phone numbers simultaneously. The device includes a built-in FM radio for entertainment and information, an audio player for music, and a video player for multimedia content. A basic camera is integrated for capturing photos. For organization, the phone features a calendar, an alarm clock (Budík), and a notes function. A calculator is also included for basic mathematical operations.
A key feature of the StrongPhone X5 is its SOS function, designed for emergencies. By long-pressing a dedicated side button for 1.5 seconds, the phone can automatically call and/or send a text message to pre-selected emergency contacts. This function also includes the capability to send the approximate location of the phone via SOS message, utilizing the GSM mobile network. The accuracy of this location depends on the density of GSM network coverage.
The phone offers various user profiles (Main, Silent, Meeting, Outside) that can be customized to suit specific events or environments, allowing users to adjust notification types, ringtones, and volume settings for calls and SMS messages for each SIM card.

Maintenance Features
The StrongPhone X5 is designed with maintenance and longevity in mind, particularly concerning its rugged build and battery.
- Cleaning: The device should be cleaned with a soft, lint-free cloth. Harsh detergents, solvents, aerosol sprays, alcohol, ammonia, or abrasives should not be used, as these can damage the phone.
- Battery Insertion and Charging: The battery is inserted by removing four screws on the back cover, aligning the battery correctly, and then re-securing the cover. It is crucial to ensure the rubber seal is correctly fitted to maintain the phone's waterproof and dustproof properties. Charging is done by connecting the charger to the USB connector, with the battery level indicated on the phone screen.
- SIM and MicroSD Card Insertion: Similar to battery insertion, SIM cards (miniSIM) and microSD cards are inserted after removing the back cover and battery. Proper fitting of the rubber seal is essential after re-assembly.
- Water and Dust Resistance: The phone is IP68 certified, meaning it is waterproof and dustproof under specific conditions: the back cover must be tightly closed, it should not be submerged more than 1.5 meters for over 60 minutes, and the water must be fresh. Occasional use in chlorinated swimming pools is possible if rinsed with clean water afterward. Seawater or saltwater pools should be avoided, as improper use voids the warranty.
- Environmental Protection: The phone is designed to operate between 0°C and 40°C and can be stored between -20°C and 45°C. Extreme temperatures can affect performance and battery life.
- Physical Protection: The phone should be protected from shocks and magnetic fields. The display is made of tempered glass, but it can crack under strong impact. Any damage to the display due to misuse or abuse is not covered by the warranty. Prolonged exposure to metal filings or particles can damage the speaker or earpiece.
- Battery Care: Batteries should be kept out of reach of children. If the appliance is not used for more than 3 months, batteries should be removed to prevent leakage and damage. The battery capacity warranty is 6 months.
- Repair and Warranty: Users should never attempt to repair the phone themselves, as disassembling it (including removing external screws) can cause damage not covered by the warranty. Repairs and servicing must be carried out by an authorized EVOLVEO service point.
- Disposal: The crossed-out container symbol indicates that the product, including batteries and accumulators, must be disposed of separately from unsorted municipal waste at the end of its useful life, in accordance with EU regulations for electrical and electronic equipment.
