18.2 Configuration of the serial RS485 interface
With an RS485 adapter, which is connected to the RS485 interface of the AirKey wall reader,
the event log entry of the successful access can be forwarded to a third party system. (e.g.
via USB or Ethernet).
The RS485 adapter must be connected to the control unit at the connector for the reader
unit in addition to the existing cable of the reader unit.
• Pin 2 of the connector → Doorbus B-
• Pin 3 of the connector → Doorbus A+
Further information on the pin connection can be found on the wiring
diagram on the cover of the control unit.
