Before starting, please read this manual thoroughly, especially
noting safety, care and battery information.

Button Functions
POWER: Press to turn your remote on or
of

SET: Press to set up a device.
ENTER: Press to confirm your selection.
AV/TV: Press to select your television or
video.
TV1: Press to select the television pro-
grammed under
TV1.
TV2: Press to select the television pro
-
grammed under TV2.
VCR: Press to select your VCR player.
CA
TV
: Press to select your cable box or
satellite box.
DVD: Press to select your DVD player.
RCVR: Press to select your receiver or
AMP.
AUX: Press to select your CD player.
MUTE: Press to mute the sound.
NUMBERS: Press to select numbers one
through nine.
0/10: Press to select either zero or ten.
CH+: Press to scroll one channel up or
to scroll codes when programming
under Quick Search Mode.
CH-: Press to scroll one channel down
or to scroll codes when programming
under Quick Search Mode.
VOL+: Press to increase the volume.
VOL-: Press to decrease the volume.

PROGRAMMING YOUR
REMOTE
Your 7-in-1 NFL Universal
Remote
® will fulfill all of your
r
emote control needs. This univer-
sal remote can control two televi-
sions, a VCR player, a DVD play-
er, a cable or satellite box, a receiv-
e
r or AMP, and your AUX box.
There are three different meth-
ods to program your remote to all
of your devices: manual search
mode, quick search mode and auto
search mode.
MANUAL SEARCH MODE
To program your remote under
Manual Search Mode, first look up
the three-digit code for your device
in the “Device Codes” section of
this manual. There may be several
codes listed for your TV’s manu-
facturer.
If your device is not listed, try
searching under Quick Search
Mode or Auto Search Mode. Once
you’ve found your device in the
list, follow these steps.
First press and hold the
S
ET
and
P
OWER
buttons until the LED turns
on.
Then press the device key (
TV1,
TV2, VCR, CATV, DVD, RCVR or AUX)
that you wish to program. The LED
will flash once.
Then using the number buttons,
e
nter the three-digit code for your
device. After entering each button,
the LED will flash once.
Then press the
E
NTER
button to
store the code number.
If the code has been entered cor-
rectly, the LED will flash three
t
imes and then turn off. Otherwise,
if it doesn’t flash three times, you
need to repeat all of the previous
steps.
T
o test the code, point the foot-
ball at the TV and press the power
button. If the TV turns on or off,
the correct code has been pro-
grammed. If your TV does not turn
on or off, try the next code on the
How to Use
Your remote requires two AA
batteries, not included. Follow
the steps below to install the
batteries.
1. Place the seam side down
in the palm of your hand.
2. Squeeze the area marked
OPEN on both sides with your
thumb and middle fingers.
3. Pull the top portion off to
open the unit.
4. Push down on the arrow
and simultaneously slide open
the top of the battery compart-
ment.
5. Insert the batteries match-
ing the polarity (+ and -) with
the diagram inside the battery
compartment.
6. Slide the lid back into its
place.
7. Close the two halves of the
football. You will hear a snap,
indicating the unit is locked
into place.
You are now ready to pro-
gram your devices.

To program your remote under

uick Search Mode, first turn on
the device you wish to program
and point the remote toward it.

test if the code matches the
device. Each time you press

a new code is sent to your TV.
When your TV turns off,

You have found the right code.
Do not hit the
CH+ key again.
Press
ENTER to save the code.
Press the
P
OWER
key to verify
that the TV turns on and off.
Please be patient. Your remote
is searching through all of the
codes and you may need to press
CH+ and POWER more than a
hundred times to find the correct
code.
A
UTO SEARCH MODE
To program your remote in
Auto Search Mode, first turn on
t
he device you wish to program
and point the remote toward it.
T
hen press and hold the
SET
and POWER buttons until the
LED turns on.
Then press the device key
(TV1, TV2, VCR, CATV, DVD, RCVR
or AUX) that you wish to pro-
gram. The LED will flash once.
Then press the
CH+ button.
Then hold the
P
OWER
button
for about two seconds until the
LED turns on. Release the
POWER button and the LED will
flash slowly. Your remote is
searching through all of the
codes. Continue to point the
remote at the device until your
device responds.
If your device turns off, turn it
back on and press the
CH+ button
on your remote. Then press the
POWER button and CH+ button
alternately until the device turns off
and the code is correct. Press the
ENTER button to confirm and store
the code. The LED will flash three
times and then turn off.
FINDING YOUR
DEVICE CODE
If your code is not available in
the “Device Code” section, you can
find out your device’
s code after
programming in Quick Search
Mode or Auto Search Mode by fol-
lowing these steps.
First, press the device button on
your remote.
Then press and hold the
SET but-
ton. While holding the
SET button,
press 1 to find the first digit, 2 to
find the second digit or 3 to find the
third digit.
The LED flashing time will
stand for each code number. If it
doesn’t flash, it will stand for zero.
For example, the TV code you
are trying to find is 102.
Press the
SET button and 1. The
LED will flash one time.
Press the
SET button and 2. The
LED will flash two times.
Press the
SET button and 3. The
LED will flash three times.
AFTER YOU’VE
PROGRAMMED
YOUR REMOTE
After you’ve programmed your
remote, you are now ready to use it
for all of your remote needs.
T
o use, first press the device key
for the device you wish to control.
Then press the function buttons
that you wish to modify
. For exam
-
ple, if you want to lower the vol
-
ume of your television, press
TV1
(or TV2), then VOL-.
Y
ou do not
need to press the device button
every time. Your remote will be set
to the device last used.
YOU MUST POINT THE REMOTE AT THE DEVICE WHILE
PUTTING IT IN MANUAL SEARCH MODE.
