Why Excera ER9000 VHF group members cannot talk to each other, or the repeater cannot communicate with a subscriber radio?
    • M
      Michael WhiteAug 3, 2025
There might be several reasons: * The TX/RX frequency of the repeater is inconsistent with that of portable/mobile terminals. In this case, reset frequencies. * There is a strong interference signal, which makes it impossible to repeat a useful signal. If you cannot remove or bypass the interference source, change frequencies or operate at other frequencies. * The group member is out of the coverage of the repeater. Try to go within the coverage area.

      Angela BrennanAug 10, 2025
Several factors could be the reason for this issue: * There is leakage of signal energy due to damaged connection cable. Replace the cable with a new one if necessary. * There is a loose connection between the antenna connector and the cable, or loss of connection. Secure or replace the cable. * There is invisible damage of cable. Replace the cable with a new one. * The duplexer is not properly set (if the duplexer is mounted). Contact the manufacturer or your dealer to reset the duplexer.

This problem may occur because: * Your ID is inconsistent with that of other group members. Set your ID to be the same as that of other members. * There is an inconsistent CTCSS/CDCSS. Reset CTCSS/CDCSS.
