Why EXCURSION Car Amplifier protection LED comes on?

  The protection LED might activate due to short circuits in the speaker leads or if the speaker load exceeds the minimum specified. Inspect the speaker leads for shorts and ensure the speaker load is within the amplifier's limits. You can also try removing the speaker lead and resetting the amplifier. If the protection LED remains on, the amplifier may be faulty and require servicing.

  If your EXCURSION Car Amplifier isn't powering on, verify you have a solid ground connection and that the (+) terminal is receiving battery power. Also, inspect all fuses and replace any that are blown. Ensure the Protection LED is not lit.
