Overview

The EX-12A/EX-15A Baron Series Professional Combo Speaker is a comprehensive PA system designed for various applications, including DJ events, karaoke, parties, and live music gigs. This system includes a master active speaker with a built-in amplifier and a slave passive speaker, along with speaker stands, a microphone, and all necessary connection cables, providing a complete setup right out of the box.

Function Description:

The Baron Series speakers are designed for versatility, featuring an attractive yet impact-resistant molded enclosure made of highly durable polypropylene. This design allows for use as a stage monitor, stand-mounted speaker, or for permanent installation. The system offers a total power output of 1200/1600 watts, with the active speaker powering the passive unit.

Key functionalities include Bluetooth integration, USB input, SD card input, and preset digital graphic equalizer effects. The ABS plastic polymer cabinet is time-aligned with the drivers, optimizing the system to deliver powerful bass, clean mids, and clear highs. The main active unit features controls to prevent distortion and separate Bass and Treble controls for custom sound tailoring. A built-in equalizer allows users to adjust the sound to match various music styles. The integrated USB and SD inputs facilitate playback of stored music from USB drives or SD cards. The Bluetooth integration utilizes CSR technology, enabling wireless music streaming from any Bluetooth-enabled MP3 player or phone. Additionally, the MP3 section includes a built-in FM radio.

The rear panel of the active speaker features a comprehensive set of controls and inputs. The USB+SD+Bluetooth Player section includes an SD slot, MODE button (to switch between FM, USB, MP3, and Bluetooth), PLAY/PAUSE button, RECYCLE button (single song/all songs), FOLDER FUNCTION button, PREVIOUS and NEXT buttons (for track navigation and scanning), a USB slot, and an IR remote control receiver.

The rear panel also includes volume controls for different lines (VOLUME LEVEL 1, 2, 3), REVERB knobs (for reverberation control), an MP3 knob (for MP3 input volume), INSTRUMENT JACKs (two 1/4-inch inputs for musical instruments), an AUX IN (TRS input connector), MIC IN connectors (1/4-inch Jack balanced or XLR balanced cabled microphone), RCA LINE IN connectors, and a 5 BAND EQ CONTROL to adjust frequency components. Additional controls include EFF LEVEL (total reverb), MASTER VOLUME CONTROL, and XLR LINE OUT/RCA connectors for line signal output.
