Connection of an electric catch, lock and of a gate motor
The functions are only valid if the handset is picked up.
- An electric lock or strike may be connected to terminals 7 and 8 on the outdoor station.
The strike or lock will be controlled by a short press (1 sec.) on the key on the handset.
Important : It is essential that the electric latch or lock installed has a mechanical memory like all products
marketed by Extel. For the wiring diagram please consult the label on the back of the handset and the back of the
outdoor station.
- An automatic gate opener, may be connected to terminals 5 and 6 and the two «external control» terminals on
the automatic opener.
The automatic opening mechanism will be controlled by a short press (1 sec.) on the
gate on the handset.
c. Connecting an extra indoor station (CB BUS 3)
An additional CB BUS 3 handset can be connected in parallel to the nearest handset (terminals 3 and 4 only)
It is essential to ensure that the poles are correctly matched when connecting the handset.
