Refer to the contents of the Dynamic Bindings tab for the following:
3 Select an address from those displayed and click the Delete button to remove the client from the list
displayed. The Delete button is enabled only when one or more rows are selected for deletion.
4 Click on Delete All Automatic Leases button to delete all the automatic leased DHCP connections. This
button is enabled when one or more rows exist.
5 Click the Export button to display a screen used to export the DHCP Binding information to a secure
location.
Configuring the DHCP User Class
The DHCP server assigns IP addresses to clients based on user class option names. Clients with a
defined set of user class option names are identified by their user class name.
The DHCP server assigns IP addresses from multiple IP address ranges. The DHCP user class associates
a particular range of IP addresses to a device in such a way that all devices of that type are assigned IP
addresses from the defined range.
To view the attributes of existing host pools:
1 Select Services > DHCP Server from the main menu tree.
2 Select the User Class tab to view the DHCP user class and its associated user class option names.
IP Address
Displays the IP address for each client whose MAC Address is listed in
the MAC Address / Client ID column. This column is read-only and cannot
be modified.
MAC Address / Client
ID
Displays the MAC address (client hardware ID) of the client using the
controller’s DHCP Server to access controller resources. The MAC address
is read-only and cannot be modified.
Expiration
Displays the expiration of the lease used by the client for controller DHCP
resources. This column is read-only and cannot be modified.
