3 Refer to the Statistics tab to display the following read-only information:
4 Select a port and click on Details button to see the detailed port statistics. For more information, refer
to “Detailed Port Statistics” on page 59.
5 Select a port and click on Graph button to view the port statistics in a graphical format. For more
information, refer to “Viewing the Port Statistics Graph” on page 60.
Name
Defines the port name.
Bytes In
Displays the total number of bytes received by the port.
Packets In
Displays the total number of packets received by the port.
Packets In Dropped
Displays the number of packets dropped by the port. If the number
appears excessive, a different port could be required.
Packets In Error
Displays the number of erroneous packets received by the port. If the
number appears excessive, try using a different port and see if the
problem persists.
Bytes Out
Displays the total number of bytes transmitted by the port.
Packets Out
Displays the total number of packets transmitted by the port. A low value
could be an indication of a network problem.
Packets Out Dropped
Displays the total number of packets dropped during transmission. A high
value may be an indication of network throughput issues.
Packets Out Error
Displays the total number of erroneous transmitted packets.
