∙ It is recommended to wear a wetsuit when the water
is below 20°.
∙ When practicing long distance itineraries it is recom-
mended to always go with at least 2 people.
∙ It’s recommended to have a tow ring set up on your
SUP Board.
In rapids using a leash is not allowed, this can be dangerous because it can stay blocked into
rocks or other things. A otation aid is mandatory. Closed shoes must be worn. A helmet is re-
quired in class 3 rapids or if the conditions make it necessary. The rules particular to each zone
should be respected.
How to use a Stand Up Paddle board in different environments.
IN RIVERS (RAPIDS)
RECOMMENDATIONS
∙ Before using your stand up paddle board in
waves, it is advisable that you are able to control
it in calm waters (without waves) and have basic
knowledge of waves, due to having practiced a
surng related activity.
∙ Every surfer should practice stand up paddle
boarding away from crowded areas.
Stand up paddle boards are voluminous and heavy, it is paramount that every surfer must be in
control of his board and paddle at all times. The right of way rules of surng and conviviality apply
to the practice of stand up paddle boarding in waves. The surfer is connected to his board by a
leash. The leash must be of equal or longer length than the board.
RECOMMENDATIONS
WAVES (OCEAN & SEA)
In the center of the valve is a stem that controls the
opening and closing of the valve. To open the valve,
press it and turn a quarter turn to lock it in the open
position. To shut the valve, turn it a quarter of a turn in
the other direction and let the rod come out partially.
Before connecting the pump, make sure the valve
is in the closed position (be careful, if the rod is
down, the valve is opened and the board will deate
immediately once the pump is disconnected). To
connect the pump, insert the tip and turn a quarter
of a turn so that the hooks of the tip slide under
the bridges that hold the central rod. The tip thus
becomes one with the valve. Once this is the case,
you can start inating the board.
The pump delivered with your inatable SUP F-ONE
allows a very efcient ination. A small valve is on
the top of the main cylinder. If the valve is closed, the
pump sends air during the descent and ascent, this
is the double action mode. If the valve is open, the
pump only sends air at the descent, this is the single
action mode. The dual action mode allows a faster
inatable and the single action mode allows an easier
inatable to high pressure. In general, it is possible to
start inating the board in double action mode, then
remove the screw from the valve to nish in single
action world when the pressure becomes important.
Inate the board
To inate your inatable F-ONE SUP, unroll the board on the ground. The board must be placed
with the top up. Open the valve cap by turning it a quarter of a turn. You can then access the
valve.
17 PSI ination pressure is recommended for inatable SUPs in F-ONE range. It is recommended
not to inate below 15 PSI (insufcient rigidity) and not to exceed 21 PSI (risk of damage)
Once you have reached the desired pressure, turn the end of the pipe a quarter of a turn to
disengage it from the valve of the board. You can then replace the valve cap to protect it from
sand and outdoor elements.
