Usage Features
Installation:
The gas cooker should be placed horizontally on a platform.
- Unpack the cooker and check for all accessories.
- Place accessories like pan supports onto the cooker.
- Connect the gas inlet (at the rear) to a gas tube, securing it with a tube clamp (user-provided).
- Turn on the gas regulator and check connections for leaks using detergent.
Installation Requirements:
- The installation platform surface must be made of concrete or other flame-retardant materials.
- A minimum of 150mm space must be left between the wall and the cooker body, and at least 800mm clearance above the cooker.
- The gas tube should be 1-1.5 meters long and should not touch the cooker body.
- The gas regulator should be located no less than 1 meter away from the gas tank.
Ignition:
- Turn on the gas supply.
- Push down and turn the switch knob counter-clockwise until a "click" sound is heard.
- The electro spark will ignite the gas, lighting the burner.
- Release the switch knob.
- If the flame accidentally extinguishes, turn off the burner control and wait at least 1 minute before attempting to re-ignite.
Flame Adjustment:
The switch knob can be turned to positions for "Off," "big" flame, "small" flame, "central big" flame, and "central small" flame, as illustrated in the manual.
Air Adjustment:
For optimal combustion, gas should be mixed with the proper proportion of air. An air plate at the burner's air inlet controls air intake. If abnormal combustion occurs, adjust the air plate until the flame color becomes blue.
Safety Precautions:
- Ensure the gas type used matches the specification on the brand plate.
- Verify that local distribution conditions (gas nature and pressure) are compatible with the appliance.
- The appliance is not connected to a combustion products evacuation device and requires installation in accordance with ventilation regulations.
- Do not use the cooker for drying towels or clothes.
- Keep the kitchen well ventilated and avoid strong drafts.
- Prevent rubber gas tubes from touching the cooker surface.
- Use oil-proof, heat, and corrosion-resistant gas tubes (e.g., NBR) and replace aged tubes promptly.
- Supervise the cooker when in use; turn it off when leaving or going to bed.
- In case of gas leakage, immediately turn off the gas supply, open doors and windows, and do not operate any electrical switches until the gas has dispersed.
- Avoid touching hot burner, lid, or pan support surfaces.
- Clean any overflowed cooking material promptly.
- For artificial gas, regularly clean lids, flame holes, switch nozzles, and gas passages to prevent carbon sediment and contamination.
- Use a qualified gas regulator.
- The recommended vessel size is 180mm to 240mm. Do not use vessels that overlap the hotplate edges.
- The use of a gas cooking appliance produces heat, moisture, and combustion products. Ensure natural ventilation or install a mechanical extractor hood.
- Prolonged intensive use may require additional ventilation (e.g., opening a window or increasing mechanical ventilation).
- This appliance is for cooking only; do not use it for room heating.
- In case of hotplate glass breakage, immediately shut off all burners, any electrical heating elements, and isolate the appliance from the power supply.
- Do not use the appliance for igniting charcoal or as a barbecue.
- Do not hang clothes or towels on the appliance for drying.
Maintenance Features
- Cleaning: In case cooking stuff overflows over the burner, lid, or water collector, clean them in time so that the gas cooker can work properly.
- Regular Cleaning for Artificial Gas: When artificial gas is applied, clean the lids, flame holes, switch nozzles, and gas passage regularly (usually once a month) to remove carbon sediment and contamination, which ensures steady combustion.
- Gas Tube Replacement: Replace aged gas tubes timely to prevent accidents caused by gas leakage.
