What to do if my Fagor Cooktop shows E2 error?
    • J
      Jennifer HoJul 31, 2025
If your Fagor Cooktop displays the E2 error, it means the temperature of the IGBT (Insulated-Gate Bipolar Transistor) is higher than 180°F. The unit will shut off and the internal fan will turn on. Wait for the fan to stop, then unplug the unit and plug it back in to restart.

Why does the fan keep running after I turn off my Fagor 670041900?
    • J
      James CarpenterAug 5, 2025
This is normal. Even after you turn off the Fagor Cooktop, the internal fan continues working for a few moments to cool down the appliance. The fan will turn off automatically after cooling is complete. Do not unplug the unit before the fan stops. If you must unplug it, let the unit cool down completely first.

Why is my Fagor 670041900 Cooktop beeping and not heating up?
    • D
      derekbrownAug 11, 2025
If your Fagor Cooktop is beeping and not generating heat after placing cookware and pressing the ON/OFF button followed by TEMP or a Quick Launch button, it might not be detecting the cookware. Ensure the cookware has a completely flat bottom. Also, test the cookware with a magnet; if the magnet doesn't stick, it's not induction compatible.

    • S
      Shane FarmerAug 16, 2025
If your Fagor Cooktop displays the E1 error, place the cookware on the cooktop. Check if the cookware is compatible with a magnet.

Why doesn't my stainless steel pot work on my Fagor 670041900 Cooktop?
    • C
      Caitlyn MartinezAug 21, 2025
If you are unsure whether your stainless steel pot is induction compatible with your Fagor Cooktop, check with a magnet first. If the magnet doesn’t stick, you will not be able to use that particular pot on an induction cooktop because not all stainless steel has magnetic properties.

Why does my Fagor Cooktop make a humming noise when cooking?
    • T
      Thomas TaylorAug 26, 2025
This humming noise is normal during operation of the Fagor Cooktop. Generally, higher-quality cookware with a thicker bottom will produce less humming noise.
