5.2.1 Description of the controls

5.2.2 Switching on the heating elements
• Ensure that the tub is filled with water to the MAXIMUM level.
• Press the power switch situated on the outside of the appliance.
• Rotate the M energy control clockwise to the machine connected position so that the light L1
(green) comes on.
• Then, to turn the appliance on, turn the energy control clockwise to the required position. The
on/off cycles of the heating elements vary according to the position selected.
• The light L2 (amber) lights up when the heating elements are operating.
5.2.3 Switching off the heating elements
• Rotate the Mr energy control anticlockwise to the off position , the light L1 (green) goes off.
5.2.4 Filling the pot with water
To fill the pot with water, turn the water fill control Ma to the required position (cold water or hot
water ).
The water comes out through the tap on the work surface.
5.2.5 Filling the chamber with water
• The control of the water level in the chamber is automatic.
• The heating is switched on when the water reaches the minimum level in the chamber.
• The pots have a pressure switch for controlling the pressure inside the Bain Marie chamber. If the
pressure exceeds the configured value, the heating stops, saving water and energy.
5.2.6 Tub drainage
The pot has a drainage tap on the front panel. To drain the pot, open the tap.
