Safety distances
Attention!
Please take care to ensure that the ap-
pliance is never operated when close to
furniture, curtains or other ammable ob-
jects. Ensure a minimum distance is main-
tained to other nearby objects, walls and
ceilings.
Foods with a high oil and fat content might
easily ignite and catch re, therefore do
not toast or warm up any products with
toppings or llings

• Ensure that the crumb tray is installed correctly.
• Insert the bread into the bread slots.
• Select your preferred browning degree depending
on the freshness and thickness of the bread by
turning the browning control knob into the resp.
direction (1 = slightly toasted -> 6 = dark toasted).
• Push down the toasting lever until it locks into
place. The toaster will switch o automatically,
once the set browning degree has been reached
and the bread slices will be ejected.
• To interrupt the toasting cycle before automatic
cut-o, press the cancel button. The bread slices
will be ejected.
• Pull the toasting lever up and take out the bread
slices carefully.
Warning!
Toasted bread can be very hot. Let it cool
down or use potholders to handle it.
• Insert the bread into the bread slots, choose your
desired browning level and press down the toas-
ting lever, then press the defrost button.
• Insert the bread into the bread slots, press down
the toasting lever and then press the reheat but-
ton.
