What to do if my FALK GPS navigation device will not start?

  If your Falk GPS navigation device won't start, first ensure the ON/OFF switch at the bottom or back is in the ON position. If it remains unresponsive, the battery might be too low. Connect the device to a power source; it should automatically start after a few minutes. Charging may take up to 24 hours. If storing the device for an extended period, use the OFF switch to conserve battery.

Why does my FALK GPS have no GPS reception or interrupted GPS reception?

  If your Falk GPS is not receiving a GPS signal, or the reception is interrupted, this can be due to vaporized windscreens, dense buildings, or heavy cloud cover. Try repositioning your device. Remember that at least 4 satellites are needed for navigation. You can check this information under “Settings” -> “GPS Info.” If you've performed a hard reset (ON/OFF switch), all GPS settings are reset, and it may take up to 30 minutes to establish a GPS fix when the device is stationary under a clear sky.
