Adult user interface
ADULT MODE SELECTION
When an adult breathing circuit is connected, the F&P 950 Respiratory Humidifier
can provide humidity in Invasive, Mask, and Optiflow™ modes� The operating
principles for each of these modes are specified below:
Invasive mode is
intended for patients
whose upper airways
have been bypassed by
either a tracheostomy or
endotracheal tube�
Mask mode is intended
for patients whose upper
airways have not been
bypassed, but are
receiving gas via a face
mask or similar�
Optiflow mode is
intended for patients
who require respiratory
therapy through an
Optiflow interface�
Mode selection can be accessed via the drop-down menu button�
