Why are my Fann Measuring Instruments out of calibration?

  If your Fann Measuring Instruments are out of calibration, it could be due to several reasons. Contaminated bob shaft bearings can cause this, and the solution is to replace the bob shaft bearings (P/N 207450). A bent bob shaft can also be the culprit; try to slightly bend the shaft to straighten it, or contact Fann for repair or replacement. Other possible causes include a bent rotor (replace the rotor), a damaged or incorrectly installed torsion spring (refer to Section 5.4 to replace the torsion spring), or an incorrect motor speed (replace the motor with P/N 207446 or 207447).
