Basic wae recipe (for 4 ½ cups of batter, 1.125L)
2 cups (500ml) our
2 tablespoons (30ml) sugar
1 tablespoon (15ml) baking powder
1 teaspoon (5ml) salt
1 ¾ cups (425ml) milk
1/3 cup (85ml) vegetable oil
2 eggs
Combine our, sugar, baking powder and salt. Whisk together milk, oil and •
eggs.
Gradually add milk mixture to the dry ingredients. •
Stir until batter is even and smooth. Pour batter onto wae plate. •
Basic Blueberry Waes:
After pouring batter onto wae plate (5), sprinkle fresh blueberries over batter,
then close the appliance.
Whole wheat & Belgian waes
1 cup whole wheat ower
/ cup sugar
4 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1 egg
1 cup milk
¼ cup vegetable oil
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
