C.3.2 Pressure Wheel Height Adjustment
The jacks are contracted as the crank handle
connected to the slope adjustment jacks is rotated
forward (with respect to machine’s moving direction).
With this contraction, the distance between the jack
connection points decreases and hence the coulter
frame and coulters bend forward (change their angles).
Hence the pressure wheels will be lifted and go away
from the ground. (Figure-A)
The jacks are extended as the crank handle is rotated
backward (with respect to the machine’s moving
direction). With this contraction, the distance between
the jack connection points increases. Hence the
coulters bend backward (change their angles). And, the
pressure wheels are lowered and the pressure applied
to the ground by them increases. (Figure-B)
